The Faculty Researcher Career and Development (RCAD) Chairs would like to invite you to a writing and reading retreat. This provides a space for you to dedicate time to writing without distractions or to read all those papers you have saved and never have chance to read properly, along with accountability through discussion of goals for the day.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided, providing opportunities to engage with research colleagues within the lovely surroundings of Forrest Hill.

This is a full day event with refreshments available from 9.00 for a 9.30 start.

Getting to Forrest Hills

Forrest Hills is a few minutes drive from the Lancaster University campus, car parking is available.

It's an excellent space for a writing retreat, but we appreciate that there are no public transport options. We don't want the location to be a barrier for you attending, so please get in touch: researchculture@lancaster.ac.uk if you need support to get to Forrest Hills.
