Research Overview

Hi, I’m Felicia Cyril Sarok, currently studying PhD in E‑Research and Technology‑Enhanced Learning. Driven by a deep passion for understanding emerging technologies, my research explores how AI is reshaping academic assessments in higher education and how these changes influence policy formation, as well as teacher and student agency, particularly for international students. Drawing on my many years of experience teaching EAP to international students in UK university, I have observed the challenges they face when studying at an English university. With the rapid emergence of GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Copilot, I am increasingly interested in how these technologies support and sometimes complicate their academic journeys.
