Event Details
A debate on the opportunities and barriers to research impact with invited participants from across family justice and partner organisations
Invited participants will include the judiciary, research organisations, government, directors of children's services, experts on lived experience, NGOs, funders and academics.
The day will start with an overview of the key issues, followed by panel debates. A final session will draw together the themes and identify next steps. Following the event, a short summary paper with recommendations will be published.
The panel topics are:
- Evidence ignored? Three case studies
- Valuing lived experience - what more needs to be done?
- Moving mountains to access data - why is it so hard?
